On the 9th of July, Islander Ben Allen will be putting himself through a gruelling seven day hike from Newport town centre all the way through to The Star Wars Celebration 2016 at the London Excel. The 245km journey will see Ben pass over the Solent then through the New Forest, Salisbury and Stongehenge – all whilst wearing his Stormtrooper armour!
Ben is undertaking this massive feat to raise money for the Joe Ellis Trust. The trust was set up in memory of 13 year-old Joe Ellis who lost his life to Primary Mediastinal large B cell Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2014. The Joe Ellis Trust helps Isle of Wight children who have cancer and their families in their time of need and Wightfibre are proud to be sponsoring Ben.
