The end of Microsoft Paint?

SHARE

Recently Microsoft Paint fans were up in arms at the news that it wouldn’t be made anymore, however a compromise has been reached resulting in Microsoft dropping its Paint program from future versions of Windows, BUT users still being able to get it by downloading it from the Windows Store.

The reason given by software giant Microsoft, is that it wants to focus on the newer app, Paint 3D. Paint 3D allows you to create, load and manipulate 3D models, as well as paint and draw in 2D, just as you can with the normal version of Paint.

Paint 3D has even been updated to include Magic Select, and new ‘Line’ and ‘Curve’ tools, so make sure you have the latest version of the software installed.

Have you experimented with Paint 3D yet? Share your 3D creations with us on Facebook and Twitter.
