The all-new Dot London (.London) domain names go on sale

The new Dot London (.london) domain for London launched on 29 April. Businesses, organisations and individuals can apply for a web address ending in .london as an alternative to .com or .co.uk.

The internet registrars collected more than 50,000 expressions of interest from those looking to secure their Dot London address before they went on sale. On 29 April, a 3-month period during which Londoners and London businesses will be given priority for when they apply for a domain name. Trademark holders will also receive priority.
