Drive in Films for Christmas at Robin Hill

The Isle of Wight’s first drive-in Christmas cinema will take place at Robin Hill this December in aid of Wessex Cancer Trust’s Building for the Future appeal.

Tickets went on sale last Friday (12th October) and are set to be incredibly sought-after. Th event comprises of six film screenings of Christmas classics, including ‘Home Alone’ and the hilarious ‘Elf’.

WightFibre are proud to be the headline sponsor hosting this event at Robin Hill which will take place on the 1st and 2nd of December.

The films to be screened on the Saturday are set to be:

  • Elf
  • Home Alone
  • Love Actually
  • The Polar Express
  • Santa Claus The Movie
  • The Holiday

All money raised from the event will go towards the charity’s £100,000 appeal to create a new cancer well-being centre on the Island. To date, around £62,000 has been raised, including more than £30,000 from the Inflatable Rainbow Run held back in August.

“Following the incredible success of the Rainbow Run, we knew our next fundraiser had to be something special, so when we came up with the idea of hosting a drive-in Christmas cinema featuring everyone’s favourite festive films,
