On Tuesday the 20th of September, Fleur of St Thomas of Canterbury won a whopping £2,640 on Isle of Wight Radio’s long-running ‘Speed Test’ radio game show which is proudly sponsored by Wightfibre.
Before answering ten questions from the category ‘Famous Characters’, Fleur explained that she was recently engaged to fiancé Ian and planned to spend her winnings on their wedding and her beautiful new dress.
£2,640 is one of the biggest in the show’s history and when Paul Topping confirmed that she had answered ten of co-host Emily’s questions correctly, she was left shaking and speechless on air. Even the Isle of Wight Radio News Room gave her a chorus of cheers and clapping.
