Step 2: Provide Your Details
- Once you have chosen your package, you will need to enter some basic name and address information, including details of your current provider. This helps us understand your existing setup and ensure a smooth transition.
Step 3: Matching Your Services
- After you submit your details, WightFibre will match the services you have chosen with what your current provider offers at your location.
- While this process is usually straightforward, there may be instances where the match is not successful right away. If that happens, we will provide feedback on why it did not work and offer suggestions for trying again.
- You might need to gather additional information, such as your current provider’s account number, but do not worry we will send you a link to re-join the order process when you are ready.
Step 4: Reviewing the Switch
- Once we have successfully matched your services, we will send you a summary of the products and services you have chosen. Meanwhile, your current provider will email or text to explain what will happen to your existing services and any potential implications of leaving them, such as early termination fees or the discontinuation of other services.
Step 5: Finalising Your Order
- At this stage, you still have time to make changes to your order. For instance, if you want to switch your existing phone number to WightFibre, now is the time to do so. Once you are satisfied with our offer and have considered the implications from your current provider, you can proceed to complete your order.
Step 6: Scheduling Installation
- Next, you will choose an installation date for our WightFibre engineers to visit your home, connect our fibre network, and install your new equipment. We will send an email confirming your order, the installation date, and a final summary of the services and products you have selected.

Step 7: Keeping You Informed
- We understand that plans can change, so during the process, you have the flexibility to adjust your installation date if needed. If this happens, we will keep your current provider updated on the changes.
- As your installation date approaches, we will also send reminders to ensure everything goes smoothly on the day.
Step 8: A Seamless Transition
- In the rare event that your installation takes longer than expected, we will continue to keep your current provider informed. Only once the installation is successfully completed will we notify your current provider to switch off their services and switch any telephone numbers to us.
