FreeFromWight was launched last month and has proved a roaring success with its Isle of Wight audience. The app is designed to reveal eateries across the Isle of Wight that offer ‘Free From’ foods.
The FreeFromWight app is the brainchild of Island-born duo Simon Davis and Ellis Lynas. After many disappointing experiences dining out on the Isle of Wight, Simon contacted app designer Ellis who agreed it was a fantastic idea which currently had no solution.
The app contains over 100 places to view and offers users the ability to compare listings, view menus, see how many Free From options the business offers and even boasts discounts for shops and eateries. Options for Free From dining include meat-free (vegetarian), gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan-friendly dining at restaurants, cafes, bistros, pubs, bars and shops Islandwide.

The ‘FreeFromWight’ App is now available on Google Play and a subscription costs £1.99 per year. However, it won’t be available for iPhone users until later in the year.
