Originally Google Lens only came with the official Pixle Google Android phone, but now it is available on Android and iOS, as long as you have the most recent version of Google Photos installed.
Google Lens is an on-demand photo recognition tool built into Google Photos that can provide additional information about what you’re taking a picture of. Google Lens bring you an interactive experience with any photos you take. You can do anything from save details on a business card, take a photo of an animal and find out more about it or add an event from a poster or flyer to your Google Calendar.
To get it on your iPhone you need to first download the latest version of the app. When the download is complete, launch the app and select a photo. You’ll then be able to tap the Google Lens button below it.
