Youtube has created a website just for children in a bid to prevent kids from accessing inappropriate content on the main video sharing hub.
Once a parent has unlocked Youtube Kids on behalf of their child, they can set up the site to only serve content suitable for age groups four or below, five to seven or eight to twelve.
It’s also possible deactivate searches, limiting videos to pre-verified channels. Kids can use the cartoon-style icons to browse shows, music, gaming and random items, while parents can flag content and see a child’s watch history. Just set a passcode if you don’t want kids to answer the simple sums needed to access the parental controls.
