Why is my Direct Debit amount different this month?
If your Direct Debit amount is different from what you expected, it is usually due to a recent change or adjustment on your account.
Common reasons include:
- You’ve upgraded or downgraded your package.
- A promotional offer or discount has ended.
- A credit has been applied to your account.
- An outstanding balance has been added to your latest bill.
- A billing adjustment has been made following a service change.
Your latest invoice will provide a full breakdown of any charges, credits, or adjustments applied to your account and is the quickest way to understand why the payment amount has changed. Reviewing your most recent bill should help explain any difference in the amount collected.
My Direct Debit failed
A Direct Debit can fail for a number of reasons, including insufficient funds or your bank declining the payment.
Check your bank account first to see whether your bank has provided any information about what happened.
If your Direct Debit payment has failed, you’ll normally need to make a manual payment to bring your account up to date. We usually send a secure payment link by SMS and email as part of our payment reminder process.
When will my Direct Debit be collected?
Your Direct Debit collection date will depend on your account and billing cycle.
If you’re unsure when your next payment will be taken, please log into the WightFibre Customer Portal and review the Billing details.
