Does WightFibre offer a social tariff?
Yes. WightFibre Essential Broadband is a residential social tariff for eligible people claiming certain means-tested benefits.
Eligible benefits include Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Income Support, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance and income-based Employment and Support Allowance. Contributory-only JSA or ESA does not qualify under these criteria.
New and existing customers can apply. The person claiming the qualifying benefit must apply. Contact Sales on 01983 240240 to discuss.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or change my package?
You can upgrade to a faster broadband package at any time. If you’d like to move to a lower-speed package, this can normally be done once 12 months have passed since you last agreed or changed your package. Our Sales team can check the options available to you.
Can I get a better deal?
The packages and offers available to you will depend on your current WightFibre service and the offers available at the time.
Please contact our Sales team and we’ll look at the options available to you.
If the price you’re paying is your main concern, let us know. This will help us understand what you’re looking for.
What package is best for me?
The right broadband package depends on how you use the internet at home.
Think about how many people use your connection, how many phones, TVs, computers and other devices you have, and what you normally use the internet for.
For example, if you mainly browse websites and check emails, your needs may be different from a busy household where several people regularly stream TV, play games online, make video calls or work from home.
Tell us how you use your broadband and we’ll help you find a WightFibre package that suits you.
