The time is almost here for Ben and his team to set-off on their third Imperial March, this time to conquer the Three Peaks. Tomorrow evening (5th September) from 6pm, the Anchor in Cowes will be hosting Ben’s leaving party with an acoustic set from Island band, Blonde Bombshell as well as a meet and greet with the organisers of charity Laylas Trust, tasters from Isle of Wight Distillery and some of the WightFibre team in attendance.
On Friday morning, the team are on an early boat to the mainland in their two Wightfibre branded vehicles, with a long 12 hour drive ahead of them to Fort William in Scotland. Once there, they will get a good night’s sleep ahead of the challenge beginning on Saturday morning.
