Traditional print methods for news scuppered by net

A recent study conducted by Ofcom has found that over 75% of people stay
abreast of the latest news by watching TV. Alternatively, 41% of people use the internet to find out the latest news and 40% read a newspaper.

Social media clearly plays a part in the acquisition of news, especially in the
younger generations. 60% of youngsters aged 16-24 get their news from sites
such as Facebook and Twitter.

This report clearly shows the increase of online usage and the decline in
traditional print methods.
