Last Sunday, the WightFibre sponsored Vectis Blue under 9s team attended a beach soccer event at Appley beach for the first time. The beach soccer event was arranged by football coaching and training specialists, Elite Soccer.
Winning all matches in the early stages saw the team meet Downside in the final.
Throughout the day the team were in high spirits, they showed great sportsmanship and maturity throughout, an amazing team effort.
Euan St. John Biggs also picked up an individual award for most valuable player of the tournament. The Managers and parents are extremely proud and look forward to the team’s future successes.
