You can now access Whatsapp by downloading the popular messaging tool for your computer desktop. The download is available for Mac iOS and Windows meaning everyone can access it which is fantastic for times when you can’t use the service on your phone – such as when it’s charging.

When you open the program on your computer, your conversations are displayed on your monitor, your settings and contacts are automatically synced from your phone and you are able to chat to people individually or in groups as you would when using the mobile version.

Just like the phone app, you can share videos, photos and use the newest feature of sharing your location. Extra points for the computer version include desktop notifications and keyboard shortcuts. To get started, simply scan the onscreen QR code with your phone to connect the program to your WhatsApp account.
