Four new vans have joined the fleet here at Wightfibre as demand increases for #FastestIW services. The new additions mean that Wightfibre can improve service levels and create more jobs here on the Island – three new apprentices have already joined.
As well as increasing productivity, the new Ford Transit vans which are provided by Premier Ford, are fuel-efficient with low emissions thanks to their advanced TDCi engines. Inline with Wightfibre‘s strong principles to work where possible with Island based companies, they felt it was important to source their vehicles from a local supplier. David Rye, Managing Director of Premier Ford said:
