WightFibre Sponsors the Royal Isle of Wight County Show

WightFibre have sponsored the Royal Isle of Wight County Show for several years – and this year’s Show will be extra special. It’s on Sunday 30th June and the Household Cavalry will be coming all the way from London to perform their Musical Ride – a military display set to music, performed by 28 elite soldiers and their magnificent horses.

The Queen’s ceremonial regiment are regulars at Trooping of the Colour, Royal weddings and coronations. So it’s amazing to think that they will soon be down the road from us at the Northwood County Showground!

WightFibre are sponsoring the Main Ring (where the Cavalry will be performing), plus the Village Sports Area, and we’re also helping to bring the Household Cavalry to the Island. WightFibre Chief Executive John Irvine said: “It’s a real coup for the Island and sponsoring and supporting this great community event is a way for us to give something back to our employees, the community and the Isle of Wight. We’re doing it because we care, and that’s what we’re all about. And it’s going to be a brilliant day.”

Wightfibre will be at the show all day so pop along and see us for some special offers and giveaways.

  • Tickets are available online for £9 for adults (or £10 on the gate) and it’s free for U16s. Click here for more info.
