The official Gmail app for iOS has been updated to support the new iPhone X’s odd-shaped screen and, more importantly, now lets iPhone and iPad users add third-party accounts to their devices, including iCloud, Outlook/Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and even IMAP.
Android users have been able to do this for years, and now iOS users no longer have to switch between different mail apps.
To set up an account, tap the three-line menu button, then tap your account, ‘Manage accounts’, ‘Add account’ and choose the service you want to add.
