The icon is back – the 3310 reinvented

There was big news in the technology World this week with the eagerly awaited release (or should we say re-release) of one of the most iconic mobile phones ever made – the Nokia 3310. The phone has been relaunched with a 2017 twist but similar appearance, same nostalgic features and friendly user interface.

However, the new Nokia 3310 is not classed as a smartphone, hence the friendly price-tag of around £41. The phone does now feature a 2 mega-pixel camera and a brand new version of the cult mobile game Snake.

Other additions to the new model are a headphone jack at the top, a microUSB port in the bottom for charging and space for a 32GB microSD card under the removable rear cover.

So what colour will you be choosing for your new 3310? They won’t have removable fascias like their millennial predecessors but they will be available in original blue and grey along with the new, bright yellow and warm red.
