Nominations are now open for Isle of Wight Radio’s Local Hero awards which Wightfibre are proud to be sponsoring again. We strongly encourage you to enter someone who has made a significant difference to you, your family and friends or like last year’s Overall Hero John Cattle, the community in general. Youth sports hero, John was overwhelmed by the nomination for Isle of Wight Radio’s Local Hero Awards, let alone winning the award and it’s these selfless, inspiring individuals that the awards have been designed to celebrate.

There are eleven  categories all together, including WightFibre’s own title award of Overall Local Hero 2017:

• Carer of the year – Charmes Care

• Overall Local Hero – Wightfibre
