On the evening of the 2nd of July 2015, the Isle of Wight community gathered at Cowes Yacht Haven to celebrate Isle of Wight Radio’s Local Hero Awards, sponsored by ourselves.
The Overall Local Hero Award was given to Firefighter Martin Poynter, who died in March, his friends family and colleagues were all in attendance.
