If you’ve recently cancelled your WightFibre service, you may still receive a bill after submitting your cancellation request. This is usually due to the 30-day notice period that applies when a service is cancelled.
Understanding the cancellation process
When you request to cancel your service, your account does not close immediately.
A 30-day notice period applies from the date your cancellation request is received. During this time, your service remains active and available to use unless otherwise agreed.
Why have I been billed?
As your service continues during the notice period, charges will still apply until the service is disconnected.
Depending on your billing date, you may receive one final invoice after submitting your cancellation request.
This is often because some or all of the notice period had not yet been billed when your previous invoice was produced.
