On Saturday the 8th of April, Whitecroft & Barton FC were triumphant over Locks Heath to bring the County Saturday Intermediate Cup home to the Island. The highly anticipated showdown took place at AFC Porchester in the afternoon.
Nigel True, Chairman of Whitecroft & Barton was beaming with pride over the win:
“Thank you to all concerned yesterday, you the players were at a different level. This is an unbelievable achievement for the Club who at Christmas four and a half seasons ago were second to bottom of Div 2. The Club behind the scenes has not changed since then just continuing the hard work, so it is a big thank you to you and the players for bringing success to us. “
